We provide assessment placements for children and young people, including sibling groups, and for mother and baby dyads.
We normally expect that a child will be with us for two to three years, to enable some intensive work to be undertaken, and that they will then be ready to move into a permanent placement or rehabilitation, in accordance with their care plan. Where appropriate, we can facilitate this through our links with adoption and fostering agencies providing permanent placements for young people.

Kaleidoscope therapeutic staff and foster carers are specially trained to address attachment issues in their work, providing safe and consistent boundaries for young people who have not been able to develop secure attachments to previous carers
